Ricky's Dog Training — Last Updated: 15 September 2026

Welcome to Ricky's Dog Training. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, consultations, assessments, training programmes and related services. Ricky's Dog Training is operated by Nishant Sharma. By booking, purchasing or participating in any service offered by Ricky's Dog Training, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Our Services

Ricky's Dog Training provides professional dog training and behaviour-related services, including live 1-to-1 online training, puppy training, obedience and life-skills training, behaviour consultations, behaviour-modification guidance, aggression-related guidance and level eligibility assessments.

Training recommendations and programme structures may vary depending on the individual dog, the pet parent's requirements, previous training, behaviour history and other relevant circumstances.

2. Online Consultation

A standalone online consultation is currently offered at ₹999 for approximately 60 minutes.

The consultation is intended to assess the dog's current training or behavioural concerns, discuss the pet parent's requirements and recommend an appropriate course of action.

Following the consultation, the client may receive a written summary through WhatsApp or another appropriate communication channel containing the issues discussed and our recommended training approach or programme.

Consultation Validity

Recommendations arising from a consultation are valid for 45 days from the date of the consultation. If the client chooses to enrol after this period, Ricky's Dog Training may require a new consultation before accepting enrolment because a dog's behaviour, environment, health, training level or circumstances may have changed.

Payment Note

Payment for a standalone consultation does not automatically form part of or get adjusted against the price of a subsequent training programme unless expressly stated otherwise.

3. Level Eligibility Assessments

Clients wishing to enrol directly into Level 2 or Level 3 without completing the preceding programme with Ricky's Dog Training may be required to complete a Level Eligibility Assessment.

The current assessment fee is ₹999.

Clients may be required to submit videos demonstrating specified training skills. Videos should accurately represent the dog's current abilities and should comply with the submission instructions provided.

After all required assessment material has been received, Ricky's Dog Training will ordinarily provide the assessment result and feedback within the communicated review period.

Assessment Outcomes

An assessment may result in the dog being considered ready for the requested level; or considered not yet ready, in which case feedback or recommendations may be provided. Payment for an eligibility assessment does not guarantee eligibility for Level 2 or Level 3.

Assessment Validity

An eligibility result is valid for 45 days from the date the assessment result is communicated. If the client does not enrol within this period, Ricky's Dog Training may require a new assessment before enrolment.

Payment Note

The ₹999 eligibility assessment fee is separate from the training programme fee and is not deducted or adjusted against the programme fee, unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. Training Programmes

Training programmes may have different numbers of sessions, schedules, durations, eligibility requirements and fees. The programme details communicated at the time of purchase or enrolment will apply to that programme.

Clients are expected to complete their sessions within the schedule and duration prescribed for the programme. Unused sessions should not be assumed to remain available indefinitely.

Level 2 and Level 3 may require proof of the skills expected from preceding training levels, regardless of whether those skills were taught by Ricky's Dog Training or another trainer.

Ricky's Dog Training reserves the right to recommend a different programme or additional foundation work where the dog's current ability does not meet the requirements of the requested programme.

5. Behaviour & Aggression Cases

Dogs displaying aggression, reactivity, resource guarding, separation-related problems or other significant behavioural concerns may require an individual assessment before a programme is recommended.

Such cases may require a customised behaviour-modification programme rather than one of the standard training programmes displayed on the website.

6. Payments

Payment Methods

Services must be paid for through the payment methods provided or approved by Ricky's Dog Training.

Pricing

Prices displayed on the website or payment page apply at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated. Ricky's Dog Training may revise its pricing in the future. A subsequent change in price does not ordinarily alter the price of a programme that has already been purchased.

Eligibility

Payment confirmation does not override programme eligibility requirements.

7. Programme Refund Policy

Cancellation Window

A client may request cancellation of a training programme up to the completion of the second scheduled training session. Where a refund is approved during this period, the value of sessions already conducted and any applicable non-refundable charges may be deducted from the amount paid before the remaining balance is refunded.

After the Second Session

Once the second scheduled training session has been completed, programme fees are non-refundable, except where a refund or other remedy is required under applicable law.

Completed Services

Standalone consultations, assessments and other services that have already been completed are not refundable merely because the client subsequently decides not to proceed with a recommended programme.

Further Details

Further details are provided in our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Notice Required

Clients must provide at least 24 hours' notice when requesting cancellation or rescheduling of a scheduled session.

Late Cancellation

Where less than 24 hours' notice is provided, the session may be treated as used/completed and deducted from the client's programme.

Missed Sessions & No-Shows

A missed session or no-show counts as a completed session.

Exceptions

Exceptions may be considered by Ricky's Dog Training at its discretion in genuine emergencies or exceptional circumstances.

9. Late Arrival

Clients are responsible for joining online sessions on time. If a client joins late, the session will ordinarily still end at the originally scheduled finishing time. Additional time is not guaranteed and the session will not automatically be rescheduled because of late arrival.

10. Trainer Rescheduling

If Ricky's Dog Training needs to cancel or reschedule a session, the affected session will not be counted as used, and an alternative session will be arranged.

11. Client Responsibilities

Successful dog training requires consistent participation outside formal training sessions. Clients are responsible for following training instructions, practising between sessions, communicating relevant changes and providing an appropriate environment for training.

12. Safety During Online Training

Because online sessions take place remotely, the pet parent or handler remains responsible for the dog's physical handling, supervision, environment and immediate safety.

Clients should not attempt an exercise where they reasonably believe doing so would put the dog, handler, another person or another animal at risk.

Ricky's Dog Training may modify or stop an exercise where safety concerns arise.

13. Veterinary Matters

Dog training and behaviour guidance are not substitutes for veterinary diagnosis or medical treatment. Ricky's Dog Training does not diagnose illnesses, prescribe veterinary medication or replace advice from a qualified veterinarian. Where appropriate, veterinary evaluation may be recommended before or alongside behavioural work.

14. Training Results

Every dog and household is different. Although Ricky's Dog Training will provide professional guidance based on the information available, specific behavioural or training outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

15. Assessments & Certificates

Some training levels may conclude with a practical skills assessment or final examination. A certificate is awarded following successful completion of the applicable assessment requirements, rather than solely because the programme fee was paid or all scheduled sessions were attended.

Where required skills have not yet been demonstrated, further practice may be recommended before certification.

16. WhatsApp Support

Clients enrolled in qualifying training programmes may receive ongoing WhatsApp support as part of their programme benefits.

Where described as lifetime WhatsApp support, this means reasonable training-related guidance concerning the dog and training covered by the programme, subject to Ricky's Dog Training's availability and the continued operation of the service.

17. Communication & Digital Platforms

Services may use third-party platforms such as WhatsApp, Google Meet, Calendly, Razorpay, Dropbox, email or similar digital services. Clients may need access to appropriate internet connectivity, a compatible device and these services where necessary. Use of third-party platforms may also be subject to those providers' own terms and privacy practices.

18. Videos, Photographs & Client Content

Videos or photographs submitted specifically for consultation, assessment or training purposes may be reviewed and stored where reasonably necessary to provide the service.

Submission of training material does not automatically grant Ricky's Dog Training permission to publish it for marketing or social-media purposes. Where identifiable client-submitted content is intended to be used publicly, appropriate permission will be obtained where required.

Our Privacy Policy provides additional information regarding the handling of personal information.

19. Training Materials & Intellectual Property

Training plans, written instructions, programme structures, educational material, videos, documents and other original content supplied by Ricky's Dog Training are intended for the client's personal use unless otherwise stated. They may not be reproduced, resold, commercially distributed, republished or represented as another trainer's or business's material without permission.

Clients remain free to use the training techniques and knowledge they learn with their own dogs.

20. Website Information

We aim to keep information on our website accurate and current. However, programme availability, pricing, schedules and service structures may change. Where there is an obvious website error or outdated information, Ricky's Dog Training may clarify the applicable terms before accepting or continuing a booking.

21. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. Information may be processed through service providers necessary to operate bookings, payments, communication, analytics and training delivery.

22. Changes to These Terms

Ricky's Dog Training may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in services, technology, business practices or legal requirements. The updated version will be published on the website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that a customer has under applicable law.

23. Applicable Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or override rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable Indian law.
